Abstract guidelines & submission
We invite all the authors to submit their abstracts for oral or poster presentation not later than October 1, 2024
Abstracts should be submitted at the congress official web site.
Guidelines:
- Abstract has to be written in English language
- The abstract should not exceed 2000 characters
- Indicate the topic and type of your presentation
- Abstract should include the title, names of all contributors (without titles), department, institution, city and country.
Names of author and co-authors have to be submitted in the following way: First and Last name (example: John Smith) - Contact author (presenter) should submit his/her phone and e-mail address
- Enter the title and text of the abstract (please pay attention to any special characters), 3-5 keywords and at least one reference (preferably up to 3)
- It is preferable that submitted abstract has: the goal, material and methods, results, conclusion
- It is possible to attach a picture (jpg., tif.) or a table (doc.) – please send in a separate document denoting the summary to kardio@kardio.hr
- Upon application of the abstract, please make sure to send all ORCID identifiers of all authors of the abstract (registration at https://orcid.org/register) to kardio@kardio.hr

Poster presentations
Poster presentations will be presented in the form of e-posters.
Using touch screens will enable e-poster presentations to be presented in the same manner as traditional, paper posters would be. The posters will be divided into sections.
Instructions for e-poster preparation
- every e-poster must be submitted to the following e-mail address: e-posteri@arktotech.hr by Friday 15/11/2024 at the latest
- every e-poster must be submitted by the person who initially submitted the abstract
Saving e-posters in the .jpg / .png formats
- the e-poster dimensions need to be 1920x1080 pixels (portrait format)
- we kindly ask the authors not to use fonts smaller than 10pt
- the data file size must be less than 20 MB
Saving e-posters made in PowerPoint (Save As .jpg / .png)
- the e-poster must contain ONLY ONE SLIDE with the entire contents of the poster
- we kindly ask the authors not to use fonts smaller than 10pt
- the data file size must be less than 20 MB
- only one e-poster per abstract is allowed, e-posters must not contain ausio/video recordings or moving images of any format
Important
Oral or poster presentations will not be possible withoud a paid registration fee (excluding presentations by invited speakers).
The best presentations in both categories will be rewarded.
